Welcome to the Ghana Union of Greater Manchester website. The Ghanaian Community has been active in Greater Manchester since the Pan-African Congress in 1945. The Ghana Union is a non-profit voluntary and friendly organisation established to bring Ghanaians, friends of Ghana and the general public together, fostering a common bond, projecting our identity and showcasing our culture. It is an organisation that is open and free for all to join and is funded by the voluntary donations of members and fundraising activities. The Chairman presides over all meetings and is responsible for the co-ordination of all activities of the Union.
