Prestea Huni-Valley, One BECE Candidate One Mathematical Set

The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency and Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Hon. Mrs Lawyer Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has presented over 4000 branded mathematical sets to BECE candidates in the Municipality.

Hon. Barbara made the presentations at the various schools in the Municipal Capital, Bogoso Monday 28th May 2018.

“Am here to urge you on to remain confident enough that you will produce what you have learnt and pass in flying colours”, Hon. Barbara stated.

The deputy Lands Minister further encouraged the elated BECE candidates not to be afraid but confident enough that they will pass and benefit from the Free SHS policy of the Nana Addo led government.

” We are here to remind you that we are solidly behind you, to encourage you to pass and benefit from the Free SHS program and become, Teachers, Lawyers, Geologist, Bankers and other professional’s and help build the Municipality and the nation in general,” Hon Barbara Added.

I am here to present mathematical sets to each one of you in the Municipality to use for your exams, a total number of 4,330. It cost the Member of Parliament Ghc 20,000.

At the Golden Star School, Hon Barbara Oteng-Gyasi urged the candidates to maintain the standards set by their predecessors of which one student last year won a Presidential award.

The Deputy Minister’s entourage included the MCE Hon. Mozart K. Owuh, Constituency Chairman Abiam Kuntu Danso, 1st Vice Chairman Stephen Anokye, Municipal Nadmo Boss Francis Abeiku Yankah, Officers from GES led by Mrs Danso Yeboah and the media.

The Headmistress of Golden Star School, Mrs Rosina Akoto commended the MP for her continuous support for the schools in the municipality and her commitment to their needs.

Bogoso Methodist JHS, Golden Star JHS, St. Michael Catholic JHS, Bogoso D/A, Purity Int. JHS, Anglican JHS and Petepom D/A JHS are among the schools visited by the Mp and her entourage..
